A new plan for 2015?!

There have been some rather confident rumours circulating instagram about a new and exciting revamp of the Slimming World plan.

At first I was dubious, nervous even, but after giving it some thought I think that my tatty old book and relaxed habits could do with a bit of a kick up the proverbial bum.

Having said that I lost a whopping 2.5lbs on Wednesday (2lb of which I had gained the week before) and I am currently at my lowest weight since joining Slimming World- yippee!!

Hi-fi Bars

A new week commences today and although I gained 1.5lbs last night, I have still maintained my 1 stone total loss, which definitely softened the blow.

I thought I'd treat myself to some hi-fi bars (I was starving) so I opted for Rocky Road.
Read on for the verdict...

One meal at a time... a successful slimming world concept (draw a line dotcom)

So I drafted this post on 1st August which was around 13 weeks ago.

My "one meal at a time" spreadsheet came to fruition in June. I was not sticking to plan, I was not trying and I was miserable.

There are 21 meals in a week and I now take time to note how many of the 21 meals I have on plan. In June I was 9 stone 8lbs and at my last weigh in I was 8 stone 13.5lbs. I achieved my one stone award and my Club 10 award.

This method works for me.

If I have a mahoosive pizza on a Saturday night, I draw a line and have an on plan breakfast on Sunday morning. If I skip lunch that same Sunday, I make sure that dinner is on plan.

And so on.

It seems so simple but it works!! It rids me of the guilt for one.

On a good week I will have 18 meals on plan out of the 21 and lose 1-2lbs.
I'm more than ok with that.

Saturday 11th * * x
Sunday 12th * x *
Monday 13th * * *
Tuesday 14th * x *
Wednesday 15th * * ~ 18/21 8.13.5      -2lbs

For me, it makes this more of a lifestyle thing rather than a fad. I've been a member for over a year now and although I've "only" lost a stone, my relationship with food is better than its ever been.

Having said that...I have just had a weeks annual leave and about 10 days of pigging out, but only tonights weigh in can tell....
I'll draw a line and have a fabby on plan dinner tonight anyway.

*star* week - what does that mean to you?

TMI or not I hadn't had star week for every long time due to contraceptive hormones (the injection).

So a couple of weeks ago I experienced my first star week in maybe over a year.
There was chocolate devouring, tears and a mahoosive weight gain (+2lbs!!!)
I was hormonal so didn't stay to group but my consultant said on average the gain is 2lb-4lb when its "that time of the month".

Low and behold the following week I was down 2lbs. I wonder if this affects everyone...people at group don't seem that open about it.

A poor girl last week had gained 3lbs and was sobbing. It was her * week. She had been as good as gold. If she loses more than 3lbs tomorrow I will know that it was water weight like the consultant said.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on this. Not just for weight but to get to know how my own body works (cringe)- god I hate it when people talk like that!
But seriously, I'm 25 years old and should know that if I cry at Eastenders I'm probably due on...

Update:- * week girl lost a whopping 5lbs!!! Water weight it is.

Get back on that wagon!

Ugh.

So I took 3 weeks off of Slimming World. And I gorged. And I gained 2.5lbs. I know it could be worse. It could also be better.

In 8 months I have lost 7lbs.

But
In 8 months I have lost and kept off 7lbs
And
In another 8 months I could lose another 7lbs
So

I am back on it. Going to chill out about it. (Me and chilled do not belong in the same sentence).
I'm going to go slowly, take it easy. Enjoy my journey.

Last time I did the 777 challenge I gained 0.5lb. GAINED!
BUT the week after I lost 2.5lbs (my biggest weekly loss to date).

Here we go...
